Test 2015: June 2014

If you follow me on Instagram you know what I have been up to last week. I was in Chicago for a couple of days, and I had the chance to do some "touristing" :) One of my pleasures in life is traveling, and I can’t miss the opportunity to visit the main attractions wherever I go. The weather was very pleasant and windy at times (now I know why it's called the windy city). I was very impressed on how clean the city is, and people are more relaxed and easy going compared with New Yorkers that are always in a rush. I would like to share some of the pictures on the blog, stay tuned!:)

Lately, my summer staples have been maxi dresses and long skirts, so I want to wear some bare legs outfits before the summer is over. I wore a skort from Zara that I recently bought on sale. I also wore my favorite red sunglasses to give the outfit some color in a beautiful summer day. Even though my heels are comfortable, I brought a pair of flats in my purse to go for a walk around the city. I hope you guys like the pictures!

Si me siguen en Instagram ya saben lo que he estado haciendo la última semana. Estuve en Chicago un par de días, y tuve la oportunidad de hacer algo de turismo. Uno de mis placeres en la vida es viajar, y no puedo perder la oportunidad de conocer las principales atracciones a donde vaya. El clima estuvo muy agradable, y con viento a veces (ahora sé por qué la llaman la ciudad de los vientos). Me quedé muy impresionada de lo limpia que es la ciudad, y la gente está más relajada y tranquila (en comparación con los neoyorquinos que están siempre en un apuro). Me gustaría compartir algunas de las fotos en el blog, quédense sintonizados.

Últimamente, mis básicos del verano han sido las faldas y vestidos largos, así que quiero compartir algunos atuendos vistiendo shorts cortos antes de que se acabe el verano. Me puse una falda pantalón de Zara que me acabo de comprar en descuento. También llevaba mis gafas de sol rojas favoritas para darle al atuendo un poco de color y disfrutar de mi último día en la hermosa ciudad. Aunque mis tacones son bastante cómodos, llevé unos zapatos planos para "turistear" por largas horas. Espero que les gusten las fotos!

Hi girls! I have been obsessed with black and white, and this outfit is not an exception! I am totally in love with my black high-low skirt from H&M that I got for only $29.95 (score!). The light and soft satin fabric makes it so comfortable to wear for a summer night out. I wore this outfit on a date night with my hubby, and I received so many compliments :) I paired it with my favorite crop top along with my latest gladiator sandals that I got on sale at Marshalls (Only $34.95!). Finally, I added a touch of color with sensual pink lips that will never go out of style.

I am so excited for my trip to Chicago this week. I will be there for a few days, and I will take some time to visit some of the city attractions. It’s going to be my first time in Chicago, and I couldn’t be happier to explore the city a little bit. Girls I need your advice, if you know places that are worth visiting please let me know! Hola chicas! He estado obsesionada con el blanco y negro, y este atuendo no es una excepción! Estoy enamorada de mi falda asimétrica de H&M. La tela de satín muy suave y liviana la hace tan cómoda de llevar para una noche de verano. Me puse este “outfit” para una cita con mi esposo un sábado por la noche. Combiné la falda con mi top corto favorito, junto con unas sandalias estilo gladiador. Finalmente, añadí un toque de color con unos labios rosados que nunca pasan de moda.

Estoy muy emocionada por mi viaje a Chicago esta semana. Será mi primera vez en esa ciudad, y aprovecharé el tiempo para visitar algunas de sus atracciones. Chicas, necesito consejos de lugares que valen la pena visitar, por favor hágamelo saber! Les deseo una buena semana!

Hi girls ~ I enjoy having my pictures taken very much. For me, each photo shooting is always a new adventure; from planning my outfits to searching for new locations to shoot the pictures. It’s one of the things I enjoy the most as a fashion blogger. Since I was a little kid, I was the girl who was always into dance events in high school. I remember how much I enjoyed performing choreographies and dressing up for events. Well, things have not changed since then, and I am so glad that I can still be able to do what I love, and thanks for letting me share one of my passions with you.

Maxi dresses are one of the biggest trends this summer. I bought this cute floral dress on a big sale in one of my trips to H&M. The best part about this dress is that I scored it for $20.95! (whop-whop) I always take advantage of the sales when it comes to dresses.

We shot these pictures with the “Binghamton” in the back drop, a retired ferryboat that operated from 1905 to 1967 transporting passengers across the Hudson River between Manhattan and New Jersey. Binghamton has been permanently moored at Edgewater, New Jersey since 1971. It operated as a floating restaurant from 1975 to 2007. The boat looks a little creepy, and it has a lot of mystery. It is like a piece of art to me. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Hola chicas ~ ustedes no saben lo mucho que me gusta tomar las fotos de atuendos. Para mí cada sesión fotográfíca es una nueva aventura; desde la planeación de mi vestuario hasta la búsqueda de nuevos lugares para tomar las fotos. Es una de las cosas que más disfruto como bloguera de moda. Desde que era niña estaba siempre en eventos de danza en el colegio. Recuerdo lo mucho que disfrutaba practicar coreografías y disfrazarme para los eventos. Bueno, las cosas no han cambiado desde entonces, y estoy feliz de que todavía puedo ser capaz de hacer lo que amo, y gracias por dejarme compartir una de mis pasiones con ustedes.

Los vestidos largos son una de las tendencias de este verano. Encontré este vestido floral en descuento en una de mis visitas a la tienda H&M. La mejor parte de este vestido es que lo compré por solo $20.95! Siempre tomo ventaja de los descuentos y más aún cuando se trata de vestidos.

Tomamos estas fotos con el "Binghamton" de fondo, un transbordador retirado que operó desde 1905 hasta 1967 transportando pasajeros a través del río Hudson entre Manhattan y New Jersey. Binghamton ha quedado permanentemente en Nueva Jersey desde 1971. Operó como un restaurante flotante 1975-2007. El barco es estremecedor, y tiene mucho misterio. Es como una pieza de arte para mí. Espero que disfruten las fotos!

Last weekend, I left my heels at home to go for a walk on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn. Since I moved to New Jersey, I have made a promise to myself that I will never stop enjoying, exploring and loving the big city, in other words, be a tourist at heart. La semana pasada, dejé mis tacónes en casa para ir a dar un paseo en una hermosa tarde de verano en Brooklyn. Desde que me mudé a Nueva Jersey, me hice una promesa a mí misma que nunca voy a dejar de disfrutar, explorar y amar a la gran ciudad, en otras palabras, ser un turista de corazón. I don’t feel so comfortable showing my belly bottom, but for some reason I forgot that I had one when I was shooting these pictures (haha!). I felt so comfortable in those pants that I forgot I was wearing a crop top. I like this type of tops that are not so “ I-want-to-show-my-belly” type, because I can wear them with more confidence. I paired the crop top with my latest favorite wide-leg printed pants, and high platform heels for comfort and height. I also wore a neutral bag to keep the pants as the center of attention.

No me siento muy cómoda mostrando mi ombligo, pero por alguna razón me olvidé que tenía uno cuando estábamos tomando estas imágenes (jaja!). Me sentí tan cómoda en esos pantalones que se me olvidó que llevaba un top corto. Me gusta este tipo de tops que no son tan del tipo "yo quiero mostrar mi abdomen”, porque lo puedo usar con más seguridad. Me puse el top corto con mis pantalones estampados de estilo acampanado, y unos tacones de plataforma para estar cómoda y con unos centímetros más de altura. También llevaba una bolsa neutral para mantener los pantalones como el centro de atención.

Hi girls! I am going to be very brief today. I have a business trip in the afternoon, and I haven’t finished packing yet. It always happens to me that I have something at the last minute. Anyway, I will be in Atlanta this week for work. It’s going to be an intense week, but I am so excited about it!

I wore this outfit during the weekend for a casual meeting. I truly believe that a pair of jeans can be converted into something chic and comfy for a relaxed weekend. This time, I paired my jeans with a printed blazer to dress them up a little bit. I added many shades of blue to the outfit by adding a blue bag, heels and my latest favorite sunglasses.

Hola chicas! Voy a ser muy breve hoy. Tengo un viaje de negocios por la tarde, y no he terminado de empacar todavía. Siempre me pasa que tengo algo a último minuto. De todos modos, voy a estar en Atlanta esta semana por trabajo. Va a ser una semana intensa, pero estoy muy emocionada por ello!

Me puse esta pinta durante el fin de semana para una reunión informal. Sinceramente, creo que unos jeans se puede convertir en algo chic y cómodo para un fin de semana relajado. Esta vez, los combiné con un blazer, para darle un toque formal a mis jeans. También, añadí muchos tonos de azul con un bolso, tacones y mis gafas de sol favoritas.
