Hi girls! As you can see, we are covered in snow and as if it’s not enough, we are expecting more today. I just imagine myself in my igloo, because I am not planning to leave my apartment ha! We had a little bit of sunshine in the city this past weekend, so I wore this two-toned yellow/gray sweater for an early dinner with friends. I paired it with a gray coat, destroyed black jeans and booties. I wear black for work on a daily basis since that’s my uniform, which I have no complain because it’s so easy to get ready everyday. So, whenever I have the chance to wear colors, I add a bag or accessories to give a touch of color to the outfit. I hope you like it!

Tuvimos un poco de sol en la ciudad este pasado fin de semana, así que me puse este suéter de tonos amarillo y gris el sábado por la tarde. Me lo puse con un abrigo gris, unos jeans negros destruidos y botines. Llevo el negro para el trabajo día a día ya que es mi uniforme, no me quejo porque es tan fácil de alistarme todos los días. As seen on the red carpet, nude lips, metallic and smokey eyes are trending right now. Jennifer Lopez looked so glamorous in her deep cleavage gown, and flawless Smokey eye make-up look; where her radiant skin is one of her best beauty features. These are my current favorite products to achieve this glamorous look:

1.- Prepare the skin: Moisturize the skin is fundamental to achieve a healthy looking skin. Giorgio Armani Regenessence 3.R' Youth Regenerator [Option: here]

2.- Eyeshadows: This palette has great colors in black, purple, tan, and grey, which work perfectly for this look. Nars Eyeshadow Palette

3.- Black Eyeliner: Apply it all over the eyes and then smudge it with the help of a brush to achieve the smokey eye effect. L'oreal Eyeliner

4.- Mascara: Apply two or three coats to get longer and fuller lashes. You can add false lashes for a more dramatic look. Smashbox "Full Exposure" Mascara

5.- Concealer: Cover up any dark circles or imperfections. The skin has to look flawless for this particular eye make-up look. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

6.- Foundation: This light to medium coverage foundation leaves the skin looking and feeling like silk. It works great for dry to combination skin types. Giorgio Armani "Luminous Silk" Foundation

7.- Blush: The application for a natural finish blush should begin with a smile in order to find the apple of the cheeks. Lancome Blush in "Rose Fresque"

It’s a new year for new beginnings! I have been working on my New Year's resolution list before the new year starts. One of them, and first on my list is to get more organized, and by that I started by setting up my office space (I have been sharing some pictures on Instagram) where I can feel more inspired to work on the blog and also doing homework since I will go back to school soon (YAY!). I am one of those persons who need to have everything in place in order to start something; I can’t concentrate when my environment is not clean and inspiring. So lately, I can say that my nights are more productive and I have less trouble waking up early (I’m definitely an owl). I had to frame my list, place it on my desk, and hopefully cross out some of my resolutions through the year.

It’s been sweater weather lately. It’s very surprising that the low temperatures haven’t been hitting us here at the East Coast (Not complaining). Gladly, I left my coat at home and wore a blue sweater with a sequined skirt in gold and blue shades. I paired it with black pumps and clutch to leave the blue and gold sequins stand out. It’s definitely what I wanted to wear on my first post of the year! Cheers to a dashing 2015!

Es un año nuevo para un nuevo comienzo! He estado trabajando en muchos aspectos de mis resoluciones de Año Nuevo antes de que comience. Uno de ellos, y en primer lugar de mi lista es poder organizarme más, y por eso empecé creando mi espacio de oficina (he estado compartiendo algunas fotos en mi Instagram) donde pueda sentirme más inspirada para trabajar en el blog y también hacer tareas, ya que pronto estaré volviendo a estudiar (YAY). Yo soy una de esas personas que necesitan tener todo en su lugar con el fin de empezar algo; No puedo concentrarme cuando mi entorno no esta limpio e inspirador. Así que últimamente, puedo decir que mis noches son más productivas y tengo menos problemas para despertarme temprano (aunque definitivamente soy un búho). Tuve que enmarcar mi lista, colocarla en mi escritorio, y es de esperar tachar algunas de mis resoluciones a través del año.

Es temporada de suéter últimamente. Es muy sorprendente que las bajas temperaturas no han llegado a la Costa Este (No me quejo). Con mucho gusto, dejé mi abrigo en casa para vestir un suéter azul con una falda de lentejuelas en tonos oro y azul. Lo combiné con unos zapatos y cartera negra para dejar que las lentejuelas se destaquen. Definitivamente, lo que yo quería llevar en mi primer post del año! Saludos a un apuesto 2015!
