1.- Exfoliate your skin: It’s important to get rid of the oldest dead cells that cling to the skin epidermis accumulated through the past seasons. Exfoliation is an important part of our beauty routine. When done correctly, it leaves the skin feeling smoother and fresher. Try to exfoliate your face at least twice a month.

2.- Sun protection is essential: Remember that the sun is the principal cause for the skin aging. Whether spending a day at beach or running errands, always wear SPF protection. I extremely recommend carrying one in your purse to reapply during the day. The higher the SPF the better, it will keep your skin protected for longer hours.

3.- Always wear a moisturizer: Your skin needs to be hydrated in a daily basis; therefore, a good moisturizer with Sun Protector Factor is recommended to go through the high temperatures. Look for a moisturizer that has at least 20 SPF.

4.- Your eyes are important: The under eyes skin is thinner than the rest of your face; therefore, it will need special care to prevent wrinkles and discoloration.

5.- Don’t forget your lips: Your lips should not be forgotten, especially if you like to spend your summer time outdoors!

6.- Light foundation Coverage: It’s better to leave your skin breath with a tinted moisturizer with sun protection. It will save you time and money due to its mufti-function.

7.- Always wear a hat: Wearing a hat will surely protect you from the sun going directly to your face. A floppy hat is perfect for the beach!

8.- Don't forget your shades: Your shades are very important to protect your eyes, and avoid direct contact of the sun. As I mentioned before, the under eye area is very sensitive, therefore; preventing against the sun rays is crucial.

Also, drink a lot of water during the day to keep hydrated. Drink carrot juice before you go under the sun, it has many benefits for your body, plus it will give you a nice glow.

5.- No te olvides de tus labios: Los labios no se debe olvidar, sobre todo si te gusta pasar el verano al aire libre.

6.- Cobertura de base ligera: Es mejor dejar respirar la piel con una crema hidratante de ligera coloración y protección solar. Este producto te ahorrará tiempo y dinero debido a sus múltiples funciones.

Como he mencionado antes, la zona inferior del ojo es muy sensible, por lo tanto, la prevención contra los dañinos rayos ultravioleta en tu cara es de suma importancia.

También, toma mucha agua durante el dia para mantenerte hidratada. El jugo de zanahorias es muy beneficioso para tu cuerpo, además que si te gusta broncearte, te dejará un color reluciente.

Black is one of my favorite colors. It’s definitely a color that never goes out of style. Although I normally wear it for work, and in my closet I can find more black pieces than any other color, I never get tired of it.

Lately, I've been trying to incorporate pieces into my wardrobe that can be used for any occasion. I usually like to dress comfortable for work, which is why these trousers are perfect for me. They are very comfy and chic at the same time; the pattern is very adequate enough for work or a casual occasion.

This time, I wanted to keep the look simple by wearing a plain black shirt, pointed high heels, and a small bag to give the look a relaxed feel. When wearing black, I like to put a lipstick on for a pop of color.

El negro es uno de mis colores favoritos. Es sin duda un color que nunca pasa de moda. Aunque normalmente lo uso para el trabajo, y en mi armario puedo encontrar más piezas negras que cualquier otro color, no me canso de ponermelo.

Últimamente he estado tratando de incorporar piezas en mi armario que las puedo usar tanto para el trabajo como para cualquier otra ocasión. Normalmente me gusta vestirme cómoda para trabajar, es por eso que los pantalones estilo “jogger” son perfectos para mi. Son muy cómodos y chic a la vez, además pienso que el estampado es muy combinable y adecuado tanto como para una ocasión formal o informal.

Esta vez los quise lucir simples, usando una camisa negra sencilla, tacones altos en punta y una cartera pequeña para darle un toque relajado al look. Cuando uso negro, me gusta ponerme un lápiz labial encendido, siento que le da vida al atuendo.

I was so excited about this photo shooting inspired in Carrie Bradshaw (SATC). I had been looking for a tulle skirt to feature in a post in multiple online retailers. Happy Monday! We are expecting a rainy weather this week in New York, which means that I will have to camouflage my hair to combat with the humidity by wearing it on a bun, keeping my hair up on a braid, or putting on hair products to control the frizz.

Talking about camouflage, let me tell you that I have been looking for camo pants for a while. The pants I really liked were either sold out or just did not do anything to my figure. I finally found the ones that fit like a glove (I know it sounds cheese, but it's true) the colors make the pants wearable for any season of the year.

I could not resist on wearing them with a basic denim shirt, and adding a neon belt to give myself a waist and to match with my purse.

I have to be honest, I never saw myself wearing a crop top. Whenever I tried it on, I immediately have to take it off! but as a risk taker...here I am! I won't probably have the chance to wear it in a few years, so I though why not! I wore it with a vest on top, because I think we can look sexy without having to show too much skin. Tengo que ser honesta, nunca pensé ponerme un "crop top" (top corto). Cada vez que intenté provarme uno, inmediatamente tenía que sacarmelo! pero como soy una persona que le gustan los riesgos ... me lo tuve que poner! Hi girls ~ I have been looking for a printed skirt for a long time. Some of the ones I liked were either too expensive for a trendy item, or the print was not so flattering. Due to my wide hips, I was thinking about skipping this trend, because there are certain prints that don't work for my body type. However, I felt in love with this skirt, the print is so fun and easy to mix with many colors, so I could not resist buying it.

We shot this pictures at the end of the day, so I didn't realize that I had no lipstick on until I saw the pictures, plus the white shirt makes me look so pale that I usually am (who cares right! ;). Anyway, I hope you like the inspiration!

Hola chicas ~ Les cuento que había estado buscando una falda estampada por un largo tiempo. Algunas de las que más me gustaban eran demasiado costosas para una prenda de moda o el estampado no era tan sentador. Debido a que mis caderas son llenitas, estaba pensando en pasar desapercibida esta tendencia, puesto que ciertos estampados no son tan favorables para mi tipo de figura. Sin embargo, me enamoré de esta falda, el estampado es muy divertido y fácil de combinar con otros colores, entonces no me pude resistir en adquirla.

Tomamos estas fotos al final del día, así que no me había dado cuenta que no tenía lápiz labial hasta que vi las fotos, además que la camisa blanca me hace parecer mas pálida de lo que normalmente soy (ja!). De todas maneras, espero que les guste la inspiración!

I wore this outfit to an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon. You already know how much I love to pair bright pink, animal print and stripes. This time, I contrasted these prints with a denim shirt which it's a essential garment in a women's closet. It is my favorite combo for the season!
