Test 2015: February 2014

As we are getting ready for the Spring season, we want to add white colors to our wardrobe. As every year, whites are going to be so trendy this coming Spring. As seen on Sarah Jessica Parker wearing bright white pointy toe pumps from Designer Manolo Blahnik that added elegance to her printed dress.

The Steal:
We found the same style from Nine West "Tatiana Pumps" that also come in a variety of colors such as; red, blue, and more.

How to wear them?
We suggest to wear white bright pumps with printed dresses or all-white outfits. It will be a trend this coming Spring 2014.

Ya casi preparándonos para la primavera, queremos añadir colores blancos a nuestro armario. El blanco como todos los años, estará nuevamente tomando presencia esta temporada que se avecina. Tal como vemos a Sarah Jessica Parker (foto) con unos tacones blancos de estilo puntiagudo del diseñador Manolo Blahnik, los cuales le dan elegancia a su vestido estampado.

I love the transition from Winter to Spring, when I can pull out my jackets, trench coats, and continue adding lighter clothes to my closet. I could say that the weather has been better lately, so I was so excited to not use my big jackets, and to bring something lighter. I love this blue trench coat, because it has a removable warm layer below that I use for colder days, at the same time; it serves to be waterproof for rainy days. I wore my destroyed jeans, and a blue shirt to give it a bit of contrast to the blues. I also added my leopard print heels and a neon belt to give the final touch.

I can't wait for Spring and warmer days!

Me encanta la transición de Invierno a Primavera, cuando puedo sacar mis chaquetas, gabardinas, y seguir añadiendo prendas más ligeras a mi armario. Podría decir que el el clima ha estado mejor últimamente, así que me emocioné tanto de no usar mis abrigos grandes y de poder llevar algo más ligero. Esta gabardina azul me encanta, ya que tiene una capa desmontable por debajo que puedo usar para los días más fríos, al mismo tiempo; cumple la función de ser impermeable para los días lluviosos. Me puse mis jeans destruidos y una camisa celeste para darle un poco de contraste a los tonos azules. También le añadí mis tacones de estampado de leopardo y una correa de color neón para darle el toque final.

Ya no puedo esperar por la Primavera!

Hi ladies - I always think that lace dresses are perfect for a romantic date. Even though, I own a few of them, whenever I go dress shopping I end up craving for new one. It's such a feminine dress that can take you anywhere at any season. I suggest you to invest in a good quality and classic design, it's going to bail you out!

We shot this pictures right before heading to the city for a dinner on Valentine's Day. For this occasion, I wanted to wear something romantic and feminine, therefore; I wore my favorite lace dress, and paired it a with pink blush coat and a red clutch to add some bright color to the outfit.

Hola chicas - Siempre he pensado que los vestidos de encajes son muy adecuados para una cita romántica. A pesar de que poseo unos cuantos, no puedo evitar el deseo de comprar uno nuevo. Es un vestido muy femenino que lo puedes llevar para cualquier ocasión y en cualquier época del año. Te sugiero que inviertas en un vestido clásico y de buena calidad para tu armario, te sacará de apuros! ;)

Tomamos estas fotos momentos antes de salir a una cena en el día de San Valentín. Para esta ocasión, yo quería llevar algo romántico y femenino, por lo tanto, me puse mi vestido de encajes favorito, le añadí un abrigo de color rosa pálido y una cartera tipo sobre de color rojo para darle el toque de color al conjunto.

These Manolo Blahnik shoes (left picture) have been walking a lot of red carpets by celebrities. The style is very simple yet elegant. These shoes can be paired with a fancy gown for a glamorous party or with jeans and a simple t-shirt for a casual meeting. We found a similar style for much less money from Steve Madden "Realove" style (right picture) in the same metallic color that will be a trend this coming Spring-Summer 2014.

I can't tell you enough how much I love denim shirts. I consider this a basic piece in my closet; because, it has saved me in many occasions when I don't know what to wear (happens!). It's one of those pieces that I could live in, and feel comfortable and chic at the same time. In this occasion, I paired it with black leggings pants and a faux fur vest for warmth. I also added an animal print clutch and unexpected white pumps for a touch of fun, and of course a bright lipstick for a pop of color.

PS: I wore this outfit for work, but I had to change my heels for boots due to the snowy and slippery floor. Girls, please never leave the house in heels in a weather like this! (lol). Hope you liked the inspiration! :)

No saben lo mucho que amo las camisas de jean. La considero una pieza básica en mi armario, porque me ha salvado en muchas ocasiones cuando no sé qué ponerme (suele pasar!). Es una de esas piezas en las que podría vivir, ya que me hace sentir cómoda y chic al mismo tiempo. En esta ocasión, la combiné con unos leggings negros y un chaleco de piel sintética muy abrigado. También le agregé una cartera tipo sobre de estampado de leopardo, e inesperados tacones blancos para darle un toque de diversión al atuendo, y por supuesto, un lápiz labial encendido para darle el toque de color.

Revelación: Esto me puse para el trabajo, pero tuve que cambiar mis zapatos de tacón por unas botas debido al suelo resbaladizo y cubierto de nieve. Por favor chicas nunca vayan a salir en tacones en un clima como este! (jaja!). Espero que les sirva de inspiración! :)

With Valentine's Day around the corner, I attended to an event at the Swatch store in New York City hosted by Lucky Magazine and fellow blogger Christine Cameron from mystylepill, who I had the pleasure to meet. I stopped by to check out the new arm candy inspired collection called "In love with". I had so much fun savoring candy treats and chatting about the sweetest Swatch collection. I felt in love with the new styles that are very cute and fun. I personally love Swatch, and it's my favorite brand of all times; because, they always come up with trendy styles for all ages, and needless to say that the quality is undeniable. If you haven't decided on a valentine's gift, a cute watch is a great choice. ______________ A unos cuantos días de San Valentín, asistí a un evento en la tienda de relojes Swatch en Nueva York organizado por la revista "Lucky" y mi colega bloggera Christine Cameron del blog mystylepill a quien tuve el placer de conocer. Pasé un momento agradable apreciando la nueva colección de relojes inspirada en dulces denominada "In love with". Me divertí muchísimo deleitando golosinas y conversando acerca de la más dulce colección de relojes Swatch. Me enamoré de los nuevos estilos que son muy tiernos y divertidos. Personalmente me encanta Swatch, y han sido mis relojes favoritos de todos los tiempos, porque siempre tienen una variedad de estilos para todas las edades, y sin lugar a dudas la calidad es indiscutible. Si aún no has decidido que regalar en el día de San Valentín, un reloj es una excelente opción.

When I first saw this coat, I loved it, but I was a little hesitant. Finally, I decided to buy it; because, I was in need of a dressy coat for winter, and I don't regret! This coat is very warm, and the neutral shade makes it so versatile that can be paired with any color. It can be worn over dresses for a night out or even jeans if I want to go casual. This coat is very cozy and soft, and it is also animal friendly. I wore it with a lace dress and over the knee boots for a night out.
The weather has been the worst lately, so we had to shot this pictures in a garage due to the snow and rain (excuse my frizzy hair).

Cuando vi este abrigo de piel sintética me gusto mucho, pero estaba un poco indecisa. Finalmente, decidí comprarlo porque necesitaba un abrigo más formal para ocasiones especiales y no me arrepiento! Este abrigo es bastante cálido y el tono neutral lo hace muy versátil ya que puedo ponermelo con cualquier color. Lo puedo llevar con vestidos para ocasiones especiales y hasta jeans si quiero vestirme casual. Además, es tan cómodo y suave que lo hace único. Lo llevé puesto con un vestido de encajes y unas botas hasta la rodilla para una reunion en la ciudad.

El clima ha estado terrible últimamente, tuvimos que tomar estas fotos en un garage cubierto porque la nieve y lluvia no permitieron hacer las fotos en un ambiente abierto.

This is our first steal, the Valentino "Rockstud" (left picture), a fashion must-have that has became a classic. Our great find is from Schutz "Brenae" (right picture) with a very similar Valentino's rocker-chic style for less money (currently on sale). Looks fabulous with boyfriend jeans, dresses, skirts and more. You don't have to crave for great shoes anymore.
