Hi beauties, I hope you had a nice weekend! Mine was great, because I went house hunting with my hubby. It's exciting when I imagine our life in a new place, and thinking about a bigger closet space! We are actually looking forward to extend our family (just not yet but soon). It sounds so exciting that I feel butterflies in my stomach :)

Hola mis bellas, Espero que hayan tenido un buen fin de semana! El mío estuvo muy bueno porque estuvimos mirando casas con mi esposo, y me emocioné mucho imaginando nuestra vida en un nuevo lugar, y pensando en un buen espacio para mi closet! Hi ladies, I was nominated for “The Tour Through Blogland” by the gorgeous Ivete Correa from the blog “Girl in a hot city”, and I couldn’t be happier to participate. Ivete has an amazing style, she has me obsessed over her shoes, and her pictures seriously make me want to move to Miami (specially in this iced cold weather of NY!)

I was so excited to participate on this tour, so you can learn a little bit about me and the blog from a different perspective. At the same time, I want to share some of my favorite looks through my first year as a blogger:



1)    What am I working on? I am currently working on some exciting collaboration posts with three different brands, and that’s keeping me busy lately. Also, since I work in fashion & beauty retail, this time of the year is really crazy, and very busy at work..

2)    How does my work differ from others in it's genre? I believe that even though we (bloggers) share the same interest and a passion for fashion, our style and personality are unique, and that’s what makes us different to one another. My style is the final product, because I focus on every single detail; starting with the outfit styling, make-up, hair, pictures location, etc.  It’s all about the details and more complex than I ever imagined, but I really enjoy doing it.

3)    Why do I write/create what I do? I grew up with the desire to one day pursue a career in beauty or fashion in New York. The blog is my creative outlet, and allows me to keep growing with new challenges every day. I truly believe there is never too late to learn something new; therefore, I am thinking about pursuing a Master Degree in fashion or merchandising. 

4)    How does my writing/creating process work? I do a lot of outfit planning. I get inspired by magazines and bloggers; however, I never copy-cat an outfit, I always add my own style to anything I wear. I also like changes, so my outfits will vary according to my mood, climate or just because. It’s a creative process, and it might come out very nice or maybe not as I expected. It’s like a painting to an artist. My hubby usually takes my pictures during the weekend, while we go out for lunch or dinner, or even for a coffee date. It’s all about having fun!

Hi beautiful girls! I hope you had a great weekend! The weather has been nice to us here at the East Coast; therefore, I put on an all-black outfit along with a cardigan to stay warm. At first, I was hesitant to wear this long cardigan, because I thought it was too long for my height; however, I really like the big pockets and the multicolor knitting. As a result, I had to wear high heels in order to elongate my figure, and the problem was solved!

Hola chicas! Espero que hayan tenido un agradable fin de semana! El clima ha estado bueno para nosotros aquí en la costa este, por lo tanto, me puse un atuendo de color negro con un sweater largo tejido para mantenerme abrigada. Al principio, estaba un poco indecisa de llevar este sweater porque me parecía muy largo para mi estatura, sin embargo, me gustan mucho los bolsillos grandes y el tejido de punto multicolor. Por lo tanto, tuve que darle una oportunidad al sweater usando zapatos de tacón alto con el fin de alargar mi figura, y problema solucionado!

Happy friday! It seems that I can’t get enough of my OTK boots lately. They seriously make any outfit stand out, even a casual cardigan! I felt in love with this Aztec print cardigan while I was "JUST browsing" at Nordstrom the other day. The Aztec print is very pretty, and it feels so cozy for the fall.

I wanted to dress up this cardigan; therefore, I had to wear it with a tank dress underneath in order to leave the busy print as the center of attention. Finally, I put on my OTK boots to transform the outfit into a different level.  Wait, can you tell something is missing? I forgot my signature bright lips this time! It’s funny, for some reason I never wore a bright lipstick before, but nowadays, I can’t live without one - the darker the better!

Feliz viernes! No me puedo dejar de poner mis botas hasta la rodilla últimamente. Ellas hacen que cualquier atuendo se destaque, incluso hasta un sweater casual! Me enamoré de este sweater de estampado azteca mientras "solo vitrineaba" por la tienda Nordstrom. Me encanta el estampado, y además que es muy abrigado para el otoño.

Quería darle a este sweater un toque de elegancia; por lo tanto, me puse un vestido negro por debajo con el fin de dejar el estampado llamativo como el centro de atención. Finalmente, pensé que mis botas hasta la rodilla harían el trabajo de transformar este atuendo a otro nivel. ¿Puedes notar que falta? Olvidé ponerme un labial encendido esta vez! Es curioso, que por alguna razón no solía usar labiales rojos, pero hoy en día, no puedo vivir sin uno, y mientras más oscuro mejor!

Hi Beautiful girls! I hope you had an amazing weekend. I can't believe it's november; one of my favorite months of the year, because it means my birthday, my 1st year blogiversary and thanksgiving, so what a better way to celebrate with an amazing $300 Michael Kors gift card giveaway! Hola chicas! Espero que hayan pasado un buen fin de semana. No puedo creer que sea noviembre; uno de mis meses favoritos del año, ya que significa mis cumpleaños, el primer aniversario de mi blog y el día de acción de gracias, así que qué mejor manera de celebrar con el sorteo de una tarjeta de regalo de Michael Kors, uno de mis diseñadores favoritos! Esto es lo que me puse ayer; fué uno de esos fines de semana que sólo quería ponerme un cárdigan (sweater) para abrigarme y tomar un café para poder despertar. Tuve una semana muy ocupada en el trabajo, por lo tanto, sólo quería relajarme e ir al cine. Me encantan los domingos porque es cuando comparto con mi esposo, disfrutando de alguna actividad juntos mientras tomamos las fotos para el blog. En esta ocasión, me puse un cárdigan largo, jeans y unas botas hasta la rodilla. Además, llevaba una bufanda roja para mantenerme caliente en el clima de otoño.
