When I had grown my hair out -- it's short now in a '20s-style bob with bangs -- I had lots of fun experimenting with it, especially with messy buns and braids. I've found the Ma Nouvelle Mode blog very inspiring for ideas -- and easy tutorials -- for different hairstyles to try. :)

You're so lucky you have the type of hair that you can style in different ways. Being that mine is curly, I'm somewhat limited to what I can do, unless I have it blown out straight. I love the messy bun, the slick bun, and the messy pony!

The reason why I still have my hair long is because I keep telling myself I want to try different styles and up do's but always end up with the same:-( I don't ever curl it that much. I have always loved your hair BTW... it always looks so healthy and beautiful. I struggle with split ends due to all the styling tools I use. Hi Jeannete! Thanks for complimenting my hair. I am not a fan of iron protectant sprays, I feel It makes my hair so thick and dull. I apply Argan oil at the ends instead, get a hair cut every 3 months to get rid of the split ends, and try to stay away from styling tools. I have a "beauty secret" that I would like to share with you in a beauty post, hopefully soon :)

Looking at hair styles on magazines is a favorite of mine as well though I must admit similar to you I end up with a few of the same type of styles I reach for, curled, straightened, pony tail, and braids.
