We can't get enough of summer hairstyles! It's such a great way to add sexiness to your look without trying too hard. I show you some celebrity inspired looks, and easy tips on how to get natural looking beach curls with the right tools and products. You can achieve this look in 5 basic steps:

1.- Get the right hair cut: You can rock beautiful wavy hair at any hair length.  A layered hair cut adds volume and movement to the hair.

2.- Styling tools: Get a curler iron if you have straight and thin hair. I recommend using a tiny curling iron (1/2-inch) to get tight curls [CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron], then use your fingers to soften them up.  

3.- Hair products: If you have thick hair, achieving the perfect beach hair curls won’t take too much work. I recommend to use a leave-on conditioner [Sexy hair] and hair serum [John Frieda Frizz Ease Strength Serum] for the tips to get a shiny and healthy look. In case you have thin hair, a styling thickening styling spray will do the trick of a textured and bushy hair [Not your Mother's]. Squeeze your hair together tightly while applying these products to add volumen and get a relaxed summer look. Finally to combat with the humidity use an anti-frizz [Living Proof].

4.- Avoid damage: If you have no time for curlers or products, wear your hair in a tight bun to go to bed, you will wake up with relaxed wavy hair. You can also tie your hair in small sections of hair and leave it overnight. This is a great way to avoid heating tools that damage the hair.

5.- Hydration: In order to achieve healthy beach waves, hydration is necessary especially in the summer time when our hair is exposed to sun rays and sea salt. A leave-on conditioner [AG Hair Cosmetics] to protect your hair from pollution is extremely recommended.

Nos encantan los peinados de verano! Es una manera de añadir sensualidad a tu look sin esforzarse demasiado. Les muestro algunos looks inspirados en celebridades, y consejos fáciles sobre cómo conseguir esos rizos naturales de playa con las herramientas y productos adecuados. Lograr este look en 5 pasos básicos:


1.- Obtener el corte de pelo correcto: Puedes lucir el cabello ondulado en cualquier longitud del pelo. Un corte de pelo en capas añade volumen y movimiento al cabello.

2.- Herramientas de estilo: Obtiene un rizador si tienes el pelo muy lacio y delgado. Recomiendo el uso de un rizador pequeño (1.5 cm.) para obtener rizos apretados [CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron], luego usa los dedos para soltarlos.

3.- Productos para el cabello: Si tienes el cabello grueso, lograr el pelo playero perfecto no tomará demasiado tiempo, con el solo uso de un acondicionador sin enjuague [Sexy hair] y Serum [John Frieda Frizz Ease Strength Serum] para darle brillo obtendrás el look deseado. En caso de tener un cabello fino, un spray fijador le dará un aspecto de abundancia y textura [Not your Mother's]. Apreta tu cabello mientras aplicas estos productos para darle volumen y obtener un acabado relajado. Finalmente para combatir con la humedad usa un anti-frizz [Living Proof].

4.- Evitar daños: Si no tienes tiempo para rizadores o productos, llevar el cabello recogido en un moño para irte a dormir creará el efecto. También puedes atar el cabello en pequeñas secciones y dejarlo toda la noche para lograr ondas descontraídas. Esta es una buena manera de evitar los rizadores que maltratan el cabello.

5.- Hidratación: Con el fin de lograr un cabello playero saludable, la hidratación es importante, especialmente en el verano cuando el pelo está expuesto a los rayos del sol. Se recomienda usar un acondicionador  sin enjuague [AG Hair Cosmetics] para proteger tu cabello del medio ambiente.

    These are such great tips! I curl my hair all of the time but my curls never look "beachy". Maybe I need some of those products!
