"A tour Through Blogland"

Hi ladies, I was nominated for “The Tour Through Blogland” by the gorgeous Ivete Correa from the blog “Girl in a hot city”, and I couldn’t be happier to participate. Ivete has an amazing style, she has me obsessed over her shoes, and her pictures seriously make me want to move to Miami (specially in this iced cold weather of NY!)

I was so excited to participate on this tour, so you can learn a little bit about me and the blog from a different perspective. At the same time, I want to share some of my favorite looks through my first year as a blogger:

1)    What am I working on? I am currently working on some exciting collaboration posts with three different brands, and that’s keeping me busy lately. Also, since I work in fashion & beauty retail, this time of the year is really crazy, and very busy at work..

2)    How does my work differ from others in it's genre? I believe that even though we (bloggers) share the same interest and a passion for fashion, our style and personality are unique, and that’s what makes us different to one another. My style is the final product, because I focus on every single detail; starting with the outfit styling, make-up, hair, pictures location, etc.  It’s all about the details and more complex than I ever imagined, but I really enjoy doing it.

3)    Why do I write/create what I do? I grew up with the desire to one day pursue a career in beauty or fashion in New York. The blog is my creative outlet, and allows me to keep growing with new challenges every day. I truly believe there is never too late to learn something new; therefore, I am thinking about pursuing a Master Degree in fashion or merchandising. 

4)    How does my writing/creating process work? I do a lot of outfit planning. I get inspired by magazines and bloggers; however, I never copy-cat an outfit, I always add my own style to anything I wear. I also like changes, so my outfits will vary according to my mood, climate or just because. It’s a creative process, and it might come out very nice or maybe not as I expected. It’s like a painting to an artist. My hubby usually takes my pictures during the weekend, while we go out for lunch or dinner, or even for a coffee date. It’s all about having fun!
