Simply Plaid

Hi beautiful girls! I wore this outfit a couple of days ago when we were feeling the breeze of fall to wear booties and a hat. On this occasion, I put on a plaid shirt with my distressed jeans that I can’t stop wearing lately. I contrasted the gray and black hues by adding a pop of color with a bright purple bag which was the perfect matchy-match with my purple lipstick. 

You know how much I love wearing a dark lipstick for fall, so a simple outfit is not an exception. I have a beauty post coming up this week where I will show you my top burgundy lipsticks in some of my favorite brands. Stay tunned!

Hola chicas, me puse este traje hace un par de días cuando estábamos sintiendo la brisa de otoño para usar botines y sombreros. En esta ocasión, me puse una camisa a cuadros con mis jeans desgastados que no puedo dejar de usar últimamente. Contrasté los tonos grises y negros, añadiendo un toque de color con una cartera de color púrpura encendido que combinaba perfectamente con mi labial.

Ya saben lo mucho que me encanta usar labiales oscuros para el otoño por lo que un traje sencillo, no es una excepción. Tengo una publicación de belleza esta semana, donde les mostraré mi labiales en tonos borgoña favoritos en algunas de mis marcas preferidas. Manténgase sintonizadas!

The Hat Season

Is it the hat season? when I saw this cute hat I wanted to give it a try. I really like the fact that it is not too small or too big, and it is perfect for the season. 

Once again, I wore my leather shorts, and I thought a simple white blouse along with a waist belt will complement the look. I also put on my open-toe booties that I have been wearing a lot lately before it gets colder.  Anyway, the booties will be perfect for a night out or simply with jeans for a rocker chic look.

Es la temporada de los sombreros? Cuando vi este sombrero quería darle una oportunidad. Me gustó mucho el hecho de que no es demasiado pequeño o demasiado grande, y es perfecto para la temporada.

Una vez más me puse mis shorts de cuero, y pensé que una sencilla blusa blanca con un cinturón complementa el atuendo. También me puse mis botines que he estado usando muy a menudo antes de que llegue más frío. De todos modos, los botines serán perfectos para usarlos con vestidos o simplemente con jeans para un look rockero.

Rock, Paper or Scissors?

Rock, Paper or Scissors? I remember playing this game with my younger brother and cousins when I was a little girl. As the oldest of the crew, I was always challenged by them to play this game. As soon as I saw this graphic tee many memories came to my mind and I knew I had to get it! 

I wanted to keep the outfit simple, so my destroyed jeans were perfect to achieve a rocker vibe.  I just had to add my teal pumps for a touch of color.

Happy first day of fall! I can’t wait to get a seasonal hot drink and put on a cozy scarf.

Piedra, papel o tijeras? Recuerdo haber jugado este juego cuando era una niña con mi hermano y primos. Como era la mayor de todos, era siempre desafiada con este juego. Tan pronto como vi esta camiseta muchos recuerdos vinieron a mi mente y sabía que tenía que adquirirla!

Quería mantener el atuendo simple, por lo tanto, mis jeans desgastados eran perfectos para lograr un ambiente rockero. Yo sólo tenía que añadir mis tacones azules para darle un toque de color.

Colors of Fall

As temperatures drop day after day for the arrival of Autumn, I began to organize my closet getting some jackets and sweaters to cover up.  A little sad to let go of summer, but I'm ready for what's to come ...

I am a sucker for deep reds and burgundy lipsticks, I couldn’t wait to wear dark lips, and this was the perfect occasion to transition into Fall. I always think that a fabulous lipstick can change your look no matter what you are wearing.

Soy fanática de los labiales en rojos profundos y colores burdeos, no podia esperar  y ponerme un labial oscuro, y esta fue la ocasión perfecta para adelantarme a los colores del Otoño. Siempre he pensado que un lápiz de labios puede cambiar tu apariencia sin importar lo que llevas puesto.

These make up the basics of a women's closet; they are must haves, no matter what your style is. While we are getting to the end of the summer in the United States, and we keep announcing the approach of the fall season, for some of you the Spring-Summer is about to start, or you are lucky to have it all-year-round. In any case, I want to share some of the outfits I wore this summer. As you can see, I just couldn’t get enough of my white high-waisted cut off shorts. They have been a great addition to my summer closet; therefore, my go-to shorts of the season!  I have worn them for many occasions; not only to the beach but even with heels to a summer night out.

Mientras estamos llegando al final del verano en los Estados Unidos, y seguimos anunciando la proximidad de la temporada de otoño, para algunos de ustedes la temporada Primavera-Verano está a punto de comenzar, o algunos tienen la suerte de tener un clima caliente todo el año. En cualquier caso, quiero compartir algunos de los atuendos que usé para la temporada de verano. Como pueden ver, no me canso de usar mis shorts blancos desgastados. On the last days of summer, I don’t want to miss a day without dressing up in light colors. As soon as I saw this dress I felt in love. The asymmetrical cut is so flattering to my type of figure. It's great for summer nights and I see myself wearing this dress for the upcoming fall season with a motorcycle jacket, booties, and burgundy lips as the final touch. 

I really like to take advantage of every single item I purchase, as a matter of fact, this clutch is my latest favorite addition to my closet. A nude purse is always going to bail you out when you are in doubt. It’s the perfect clutch for any occasion and season of the year.

En los últimos días de verano, no quiero perder un solo día sin vestir con colores claros. Tan pronto como vi este vestido me enamoré. El corte asimétrico es bastante sentador para mi tipo de figura. Ideal para las noches de verano y me veo usando este vestido para la próxima temporada de otoño con una chaqueta, botines, y un labial en tono borgoña como el toque final.

Me gusta aprovechar cada artículo que compro, de hecho, esta cartera es mi última adición favorita para mi armario. Una cartera neutral siempre te va a sacar de apuros cuando estés en duda o cuando estés vistiendo muchos colores. Es el bolso perfecto para cualquier ocasión y época del año.

I have been really enjoying my short trip to Washington, DC where I am taking some time to relax.   I just love the suite life– room service, breakfast in bed, dinner dates with my hubby… What else can I ask for, right? [ha,ha!] once in a while does not hurt. I had the chance to do some sightseeing, as I am just blocks away from the main attractions; like The White House, The Capitol and others. I just can’t get enough of this city!

Literally, I have been living in this white basic top. I packed really few things for this trip, so a basic top always save my life.  I put on some statement accessories to add some fun to the tee. I also took my favorite oversized tote which is perfect for traveling; I can take my life here and there still room for more.

He estado disfrutando mucho de mi corto viaje a Washington, DC, donde me estoy tomando unos dias para simplemente descansar. Me encanta el estilo de vida de hotel– servicio de habitación, desayuno en la cama, citas para ir a cenar con mi esposo... ¿Qué más puedo pedir, ¿verdad? [ja,ja!] una vez al año no hace daño. He aprovechado para hacer un poco de turismo, ya que estoy a sólo unas cuadras de distancia de los principales lugares de interés; como La Casa Blanca, El Capitolio y otros. Simplemente no me canso de esta ciudad!

He estado viviendo en esta camiseta blanca. Empaqué muy poca ropa para este viaje, por lo tanto una camiseta básica siempre me salva. Me puse un collar llamativo para darle el toque divertido a la camiseta. También llevé mi bolso favorito, que es perfecto para viajar, puedo llevar toda mi vida aquí y hay espacio suficiente para más.
